For this I would recommend "The Times Of Your Life" by Paul Anka. It was famous as a Kodak ***era commercial in the late 70s but the words are perfect. It was the song my dad and I danced to at my wedding.
It starts out "Good morning yesterday, you wake up, and time has slipped away" and goes on something like "treasure moments while you may, always remember yesterday, for these are, the times of your life." it's old-fashioned enough for grandmas to love, and the words are perfect for any wedding. (My dad cried as he was dancing with me and he NEVER cries...so I had to make him laugh by taking over and trying to "lead"... ![]() |
