how are you having the flowergirls hair done? what accessories are going in their hair? my flowergirl has straight shoulderlength hair. I like simple. please give me some ideas. thanks. elisa

My flowergirl will be 11 mos old. I think she'll be lucky if she has hair, considering that her mother was bald for the first year of her life. LOL

My neice loved trying on the tiara's when we were looking for my dress so I will probably get her a cheap tiara so she can match me. I haven't really thought about what else to do with her hair.

My flower girl has extremely curly hair, and she will be wearing a flower wreath.

One of my girls has curly hair and one has stick straight hair. Both are going to be wearing flower halos so i was just going to let their hair be natural.

My flower girl is more excited about this whole wedding thing then I am.

At 8 she set the colours for the wedding because what ever else I wanted HAD to go with the "pink, princess dress I've been longing for my WHOLE life".

(Okay she is a bit of a princess and being a flower girl is apparently her "life long dream.)

She's also my niece and I adore her and any decision I didn't have to make is a good one! If nothing else, shes going to make me laugh on the day!

She wants flowers wreathed through her hair like one of the girls in last months Bride to Be magazine. (She's still toying with the tiara idea too.)

So, try looking through some magazines with her (if she's old enough) and find out what she likes. If she's a princess like mine is she'll be quick enough to say "I'm not wearing that." And if she has something she likes and feels pretty in she'll not fuss or play with it during the day.

When my BF got married her flower girl had a wreath made of the same flowers we were carrying as bridesmaids - good idea because then she didn't have to carry anything. (My darling wants a basket with petals in it!)

Only other I can make and if you like simple it will work anyway - don't pick anything too fussy or requires too much hairspray or pins. I was my sister's flower girl when I was 9 and boy did I kick up a fuss when I had to sit still for 3 hours having my hair done. The only thing I remember from her day was my head hurting from all the pins and having all my hair piled on top and crying as the tangles had to be washed and dragged out that night because the hair spray stuck everything together so well!

My flowergirls will be 6 and almost 4. They both have straight blonde hair that is kept bobbed at shoulder length. Unfortunatley it is very fine hair. They are wearing wreaths of flowers (probably spray roses). THey are also carrying pomanders of pink roses.

I am SO disgusted with my flower girl's hair!! Her mother (my FSIL) does not take care of her hair at all. She is a biracial girl (Black and Mexican) and she has got some kinky hair! (NO Offense to anyone )

Anyone ever seen the little girl in the movie Curly Sue??? Well, it looks like that!!!!

Her mom does not take care of her hair and since she is only 3, she can't do it herself. I am wondering what her mom will do with her hair!! Is it okay for me to tell her exactly how I want her hair to be on the wedding day?? It would definitely require her mom to take her to a salon BUT she is a little cheap and may not want to pay for it!

BUT I will CRY if my flowergirl's hair looks like crap! I feel so bad for her! Her older sister is old enough to take care of her own hair, but noone helps the little one!!

She spent the night with me and my FH one time and after she showered, I made sure to take the time to relax her hair and fix it up all nice before she went home, so she would look decent... not like some little orphan girl!!!

my flower girl is my niece and we're like best friends, so her and i decided together that we would have our hair done sordof the same. although she has natural curls and i have the flastest hair ever. we're also going to wear some sort of sparkly head piece.
