We are thinking about having a 1920's theme to our wedding. With a 20's inspired wedding dress and my girls in flapper's dresses. I would have an ostrich feather fan instead of a flower bouquet. favors would be little feather fans for the ladies and little model T cars for the guys. I am having problems finding fans that do not cost a fortune. Does anyone know where I can look? - april

You could try making them yourself - buy feathers from JoAnn's or Michaels and glue in a fan shape between (decorated) popsicle sticks. They won't open or close, but will give the same illusion.

Thrift stores, costume shops, or consignment. Maybe a local theatre group has some you could borrow or rent.

Go to a website called www.askginka.com and click on themes. There you will find what you are looking for. They have all the sites that you can search. It help me a great deal when I was planning my wedding.
Just keep in mind: Relax and have a great time! Good luck |
