Default When do you play music?

I'm a little stumped on when I play music during the wedding. Is it basically you play some music while guests are waiting on the wedding to start? and then here comes the bride is when everyoneis walking down the aisle...has anyone ever used somehting other than here comes the bride for that part? how does it sound? i'ma little scared to play a different song, becuase i'm sort of trying to be as traditional as i can. but i think this i swear by nick lachey would be a good song....help anyone?? thanks

Typically there is music playing while people are seated - there doesn't have to be though. You can use any song you want to walk down the isle to - it doesn't have to be the traditional song that you've always heard. My brother and sister in law had all celtic music for their ceremony -it was lovely

String Quartette's are also beautiful!

You only play here comes the bride typically for the bride, the bridal party would typically walk down to something different.

Heather, I've included a time line with Music inserts bolded in the CEREMONY ORDER thread here. You may want to take a look at it. Your pastor would also be a good source to help you with this as well. Hope it helps.

I plan on having some calm and relaxing music played while the guest are being seated. and then the bridal chorus for all the walks. then after you may kiss the bride and all that is said and done we are playing the wedding march. really you can play whatever song that you wish to play. another song that we are playing is from beauty and the beast, during the unity candles. so just pick the songs that you want and play them as you wish. nobody said it had to be traditional.
