Smile brother/sister dance

Hello ladies,

I am looking for song to dance with my older brother at my wedding.

My wedding date is 11/6/2005. He is walking me down the aisle, but I want to surprise him and do a special dance with him

Any suggestions would be appreciated

That is so wonderful; I think when you spring that on him, he'll probably be ready to cry.

My suggestions would be "Wind Beneath My Wings" or "Did You Even Know That You're My Hero" by Bette Midler. They're kinda cliche, but... they're really touching.

Also, if you're springing it on him, I think it should be something he's heard before, so he's more comfortable dancing to it.

You may want to ask him for suggestions; tell him you're going to dance with your FFIL or find a good song by a band he really likes.

Let us know what you use; I can't wait to hear.

What immediately popped into my head is There You'll Be by Faith Hill from the Pearl Harbor soundtrack. Also, I personally like God Only Knows by The Beach Boys. Have a listen to both and see if they'll work.

Choosing a song for a brother/sister dance can be hard if you are trying to find something sentimental. Anything which has meaning to the two of you should work just fine. Think back to when the two of you where growing up, what was a favorite song you guys had? I really like Unforgettable and Through the Years. Some songs I would choose from should I dance with my younger brother are:

Unforgettable by Nat and Natalie Cole
Through the Years by Kenny Rogers
I'll Always Love You by Taylor Dayne
The Way You Look Tonight by Elton John
Whenever I Call You Friend by Kenny Loggins
Holding Back the Years by Simply Red
Forever Young by Rod Stewart

Default brother/sister song

I danced to Garth Brooks "A friend to me". it is country, but it is very sentimental and appropriate.

All those suggestions sounds great. Did you ever know your my hero by bette middler would be a great one! Try to find something that really speaks of the type of relationship you too have. Thats what I'm trying to do for my songs!
(ps i think you meant 11/6/06 was your wedding date?)
