Post Winter Bride...Dress

I'm going to be a winter bride in the South...My concern is that I don't like the dresses that cover you from neck to foot...we have a very mild climate even in winter so I know I can pull off the "fall" ivory dresses or winter strapless...How do I accessorize so that it can still look winter? Would long gloves (and/or) a wrap do the trick? I'm lost!

I think your ideas sound great! You can also get the winter look with your decorations (ex. an ice sculpture, "icicle" lights, etc.). I would also make sure the bridesmaids have a wrap and/or gloves. Good luck! I am sure it will be very beautiful!

There are a lot of dresses out there that can be used for a winter wedding that are strapless or have a halter on them. The dress that I am going to get for my wedding is from Mary's and comes with a shawl and a bolero jacket. Go to this link and it will show you the dress .... http://www.marysbridal.com/bridal/5186.htm. The dress is absolutely beautiful when it is put on. I didn't like it at first but then fell in love with it when I tried it on.
