any ideas for a maid of honor toast? what do you do if someone who is to give a speech, like the father-in-law, is very shy can you substitute the mother in law?

I would think you can substitute the father-in-law for the mother-in-law thats if you feel comfortable about that , and whatever makes the wedding party feel more comfortable. But in all cases go for it. I'm kinda stuck to in a mits of getting all the information on becoming a maid of honor and how to give a great speech so I can't really help you in that area. But people well eventually give helpful advise. The advise I can probaby give is go on websites to get ideas of really great toastings and speeches at weddings. Hopefully this helps yeh good luck.
