Default Plus Size Girl needs help

Ugh, I am on Weight Watchers and hope to lose weight before my wedding, but are there any good places to look for dresses when you are plus size? Thanks for the help in advance!!!

I'm not plus-sized but I did proudly get my dress at a small private shop that lists sizing for petites and full figured women as a feature on their website. If you are in NY state I could give you the name. It felt so good to try on dresses in a size ten or twelve (they also had samples in much bigger and much smaller sizes), when some of the other shops I visited only had samples in size 4 or 6! I would recommend calling or looking up shops in your area to find outif they service plus-sized women. Another good thing about the shop I went with, was that the owner who sold me my dress was also a seamstress. She made sure everything fit perfectly. I felt special during try-ons, unlike some of the larger boutiques where I just felt like they were stuffing me into any sample they could, zipping it up halfway, and expecting me to buy it. Good luck in your search!

I'm on Weight Watchers also with the hopes of losing 20-30 pounds before the wedding...

I know that Mary's Bridal (www.marysbridal.com) and David's Bridal have plus size dresses at reasonable prices. Hope that helps!

I am plus size too and in NY so please let me know the name of the shop. I have found some great dresses online but I would like to try more on. Bridal Originals and Venus and there are some others online also. I just can't think of them right now. I know that Bonny and some others carry larger sizes they just aren't womans so you could check them out too maybe.

Hello, I am the owner of an online bridal shop. I have my own manufacturer and can make dresses in any size even custom sizing. I have 66 dresses under $300 on my site and a line of more expensive ones as well. But all can be made in plus sizes and you can save money. I hope I can help you out.
