Default Star Themed Wedding

We've now decided to go with some sort of Star Themed Wedding. Being that we are getting married in August, I really dont want the snowflake kinda feel for the wedding. We are going to have twinkle lights across the ballroom and Stargazers incorporated into the floral arrangement somehow. Other than that I am pretty stumped, I don't know where else to go from here. We are basing it off of "When you wish upon a star... your dreams come true!!"

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!!!

When you and your new husband exit the ceremony and are greeted by your guest rather than have bubbles or rice have your friends and family light sparklers! Totally cute and really plays on the star theme!
Many invitations have stars on them...and you could have your florist incorporate stardust and twirls and stars into your center pieces
Take metallic stars and throw them on the dance floor, and the mini star confetti all over your tables!

Default star themes

You can wrap your bubbles in mylar rather than tulle, and then secure the mylar holidy wire ribbon that has stars attached.

I saw this done by Impressions on their fairytale wedding site.

Just be sure to check with your local laws to make sure that sparklers are allowed. I found out that in the state of Arizona they are prohibited.

I know a great wedding gift for husband to be! My fiancee got me a star for our first Christmas together. Ithink the web site might be starregistry.com. They let you name and 'date' the star. My FH, James, blended our names. He took every other letter from each of our names (James and Kelly) and made Kaley. And he dated it for our first date (which is also our wedding date 5 years later). They Registry sends a map of where to spot the star and a certificate. James added a poem that he wrote about how we would for each other there. I will look for the poem and add to the post.
