Question Need help with ribbon theme!

Hi, I'm recently engaged (Sept 23) and my fiance had someone to sing Stevie Wonder's "Ribbon in the Sky" to me before he proposed. That song is very special to us and we want our wedding theme to be something dealing with ribbons, but I need some help with creative ideas. I'm clueless Please help!

If you take a large roll of wire ribbon ...take and twist the very middle for your mark, then over lap (first being larger, second middle, and third smallest)
Tie in middle with your extra ribbon, use that sheer fabric to embellish and make grand...
then...and here's my idea have the long strands wiggle, and loop, and trail off of anything your heart desires...
Chairs, centerpieces <~have them trail along and off the table! Even your bouquet! If would be nice if you could get a wedding dress with a large ribbon on the back leading down the train...invitations, the top of your wedding cake have a very large frosted bow with the trails leading down to 2nd to bottom tear, Just to name a few b/c if I were to think hard I could go on and on!
Brandi
Ps...Your theme should be just what the both of you want! "Ribbons in the sky"...because both of you are already gunna be in heaven???

I wanted to add a couple more ideas for you. You could have ribbon around each tier of your cake.

Buying invites, or making your own invites with ribbon on them would look cute too.

Thanks so much! That all sounds wonderful. I've just been trying to brainstorm a lot of creative things to do with the ribbons, and your idea is a great.
