Default song suggestion

My fiance's step father suggested a song for us to dance to as our first dance. I like the song but I don't think I want to use the song as our first dance song. I want his dad to feel very much a part of the wedding and that his suggestion does count for something. I was thinking of using the song for when the wedding party walks down the aisle at the ceremony. Or is there a certain type of song that they should walk to. Oh yeah, the song is called YOU AND I by stevie wonder. Any ideas?

Default Song idea

You can use any song you think is appropriate for the bridal party processional. Using a modern song will make your wedding unique from some of the more traditional/classical marches.

If you are getting married in a church, be sure to check if they have any restrictions on the type of music that can be played in the church and during the ceremony.

Mermaid is right you can use any song you want anywhere you want as long as it's ok with the coordinator or church director. My mother requested "the Wedding Song(THere is love)" be played at some point at the dance or durring dinner music. I liked it so much that we are using it durring the lighting of the unity candle and my band teacher MOh is arranging it as a flute trio for my senior bridesmaids..

sorry for all the typos.. the cat is insisting on sitting on me.
