Default Fiancee Picked Wedding Songs

My fiancee picked our wedding songs (that was one part in the wedding that he wanted to do). He did a great job. We are compiling a CD that we are playing for the reception and every single song is meaningful to our lives together - we are making copies of the CD's for gifts for everyone. It has been fun!!

That is a wonderful idea! I am so much in favor of brides making their weddings memorable, and not making them a carbon copy of something they saw somewhere else.

How nice that your guests will depart the wedding with A) something they may actually want to use! and B) Something that really reminds them of you!

Congratulations to you and your creative fiancee.

Scott and I were thinking of making cds as our favors but would it be expensive? We have to pay for our own wedding so we are trying to keep costs to a minimum.

In my past experience with burning music onto CDs you would need to choose a really good high quality CD (which depending on how much you wanna spend) can add up. Only a "few" of the cheaper ones burn...leaving you with a stack of unusable CDs! I just felt like I had to warn someone b/c I got rip off this way...really good idea, everyone enjoys music! Best of luck...maybe try a few trial ones to test the cost effectiveness and quality.

Default cd

Not all the time ... sometimes it does depend on the CD players themselves some are more shock resistant than others. Does your store purchased CDs (meaning copyright--original) do the same thing (not the homemade ones)?
