Help!!!
I just got engaged this past Friday and we are trying to set a date. I live in Sunny California where the weather is always beautiful but I'm really not quite sure if I should have a wedding in Summer or Fall. We've selected 2 dates one being Aug 13 and the October 15. He feels Aug 13 will still be hot and I think October... well I dunno October seems like it mite be gloomy and possibly raining. We are not having an outdoor wedding but it still would be nice to have a very pretty day! I guess it would really help if anyone had any inputs on either dates. Thanks! |

Well it's mid-August right now, and I'm in San Diego. It's still warm during the afternoon inland- but as soon as the sun goes down the evenings are dropping into the 60s. If you're anywhere near the coast it never really seems to be unbearingly hot... I would go for the August date- unless October is a significant date in your relationship.

Are you sure you want to do August? The heat may be a factor. You don't want to sweat in your pictures! We amost had our in August, but decided against it due to heat. October would be a beautiful time to have a wedding. Think of all the fall themed colors you could do. Good Luck!
