Default Wedding Prelude - A Short Film Starring the Bride & Groom

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

A New Wedding Product Makes a Unique Memento:
A Short Film Starring the Bride & Groom

While most wedding videography service providers focus on the wedding day, TCL Communications, Inc (www.allweddingvideos.com) focuses on the events leading up to the big day by creating a “wedding prelude” DVD that’s used as a reception entertainment centerpiece and given away to the wedding party and guests as a memento of the event. Imagine, just after dinner the venue darkens and the show begins on a large screen TV or projector, big picture and big sound. It leaves quite an impression.

The Prelude is a mini feature film that lasts about 10-15 minutes and tells the story of the couple’s the journey to the altar. How they got together, where they met and how they fell in love. Stylistically it can be compared to the work of Ken Burns or A&E’s Biography but with a romantic bent like the 1966 French film “A Man and A Woman”. His and her favorite things, places and ordinary things that hold a special meaning are visited through retrospective visuals supplied by the client on still photos, video and in some cases old 8mm film.. A close-up of a baseball glove he’s had since high school. Her copy of “Bridges of Madison County. A picture of her in a sandbox, age three. In some cases, the bride and groom are interviewed in settings that hold special meaning to them like the old school gym or a park bench where they first kissed. Voiceovers of parents and friends add commentary over a bed of appropriately selected music. The completed production is packaged in DVD slipcase with graphics like you might see on a DVD at the local video store. The DVDs are given away as souvenirs at the wedding reception.

Production prices range from $200.00 for a simple music driven presentation to $3000.00 or more for a full scale production involving location shooting, voiceovers, travel and research.

Sponsors pick up the tab
One way to offset the production costs is to have a local sponsor or combination thereof foot some of or the entire bill in exchange for closing screen credit the same way Hollywood does now.

A sample of the concept can be seen at www.allweddingvideos.com/visions.wmv
