Thumbs up beachy wedding place cards cheap!

Hey guys, I just booked my reception site today! YAY!

Anyway, while we were there we got to look at sample wedding albums of weddings that had happened there in the past. The place is located near the beach, and in one of the pictures was what a bride had used for her table cards! It was sooo great. She wrote or applied labels to the inside of mussel shells! Since my ceremony will be happening at my grandparents home which also over looks the ocean I am also going to do this! And since my grandparents live right on the beach, there is an ample supplie of mussel shells for me to use FREE OF CHARGE!! I bet you could do something similar with any type of shell! and if you can access them in your area for free by beach combing all the better. I am stealing this idea from someone I don't know so why not share it with you guys to steal if you want too! Good luck to all.

Thumbs up sand dollars

Hello. For my "Beach Themed" place cards, I am using sand dollars. I am NO where NEAR a beach though . I think on Oriental Trading, you get like 50 for $5 or just really cheap. So I am writing everyone's name on the Sand Dollar, and as a gift for everyone for attending, I am writing on a piece of paper (made into a scroll) "The Legend of the Sand Dollar" and putting it in a little bottle with a cork. Right now, I am looking for little bottles that i can stick them into that are in-expensive. - Amber -

I don't know what you consider to be "expensive" but I found some small corked bottles at www.islandweddingshop.com.

I think we are going to do the same thing with the sand dollar place "cards," but I never thought of the scroll idea! So cute! By the way, I keep running into your posts and I love your ideas. I think it will be beautiful. I am actually in Hawaii right now and my wedding be***e a beach wedding, mostly because we are having it on the beach. My colors are turquoise and lavender. And if you are still having trouble with the centerpieces, did you consider using some "nautical netting" on top of the tablecloth as a base for your sandcastles? My bridesmaid suggested it for ours and it even comes in different colors, too. Best wishes.
