Question Can the groom....

can the groom go with you to pick out the wedding dress or is that a no no?

My fiance's sister's soon to be husband went with to pick out the dress and to every fitting. My fiance doesn't want to see my dress until the day. I think it is up to you and your fiance to decide. If your fiance doesn't have anyone available to shop with it would be nice to take you with so there is someone she can trust there to tell her what they look like. You could always go with when she shops for them and then later she could go back and pick out the one without you.

My fiance and I are currently living in Hawaii, far from our family and friends, and I wrestled with that same dillemma. I was told it was ok for him to go with me, and even to see the dress itself as long as he didn't see me in it. I still didn't let him see the dress. He waited in the other room and looked at a tuxedo catalog.
