Hello. I was wondering if anyone could share what they had thrown at them after they ***e out of the church. The only thing that I can think of, is bubbles! I am having a Beach Theme Wedding.

You could do confetti. A lot of confetti now comes in shapes, if your wedding is beach themed you could do seashell shapes.

We had birdseed. Rose petals are a neat idea too...sea grape leaves, to adapt to the theme? Of course, if you were on the actual beach, there would undoubtedly be a little kid who would pick up SAND and throw it at you!

As a former bride myself (yuck, that sounds like I'm divorced or something ), let me mention something that no one seems to think of. That stuff HURTS!! Rice or birdseed will sting your exposed skin, get in your hair, and find its way into every undergarment you have on and proceed to itch and irritate you the entire rest of the day! When my husband adjusted his tux and shirt the tiniest bit after we went back inside the church for pictures, a deluge of the stuff ***e pouring out all over the carpet in front of the altar. Moral of the story: shake out, outside!
