We sent out Save the Date magnets awhile ago, and then followed them with the hotel information for some of the hotels in Niagara Falls. We are getting married there this August. I told our guests to reserve their rooms ASAP, b/c our wedding falls during their busy season, and the hotels told us that they tend to run short on rooms over the summer. I called the hotel today to see how many rooms they had available for our weekend. They only have 3 rooms left!!!! I know we have a lot of people who haven't booked rooms yet, some of which are in the wedding party!!! I don't know what else to do to get these guests to book their rooms!!!
If you are doing a destination wedding, and sending out hotel info., it might be wise to put a date on there as to when they should have their rooms booked by.
I wish I would've done it, b/c now I have this mess to deal with.
I'm sure there are other hotels, so the guests might not be in the same one, but the other hotels are going to fill up just as quickly, if they aren't already filled!!
