Hi I'm looking to get married in Mexico in February 2007, with 30-40 guests (kids included) and I am looking for an all inclusive, but what I REALLY want is crystal clear water. Oh, and I'm not interested in Cancun - it's too much of a party town. thanks!!!

Try Playa del Carmen....its still very beautiful and not so much of a party town like Cancun

What about the Mayan Riviera? A lot quieter, the resorts are much more spread out. There's also Los Cabos/Cabo San Lucas - a VERY romantic area, we sell it as a romance/wedding/honeymoon destination. Most of the hotels there have wedding packages. There is also Cozumel, the island off of Cancun. It's touristy, but the beaches are sooooo nice (I've been there 2x). Many hotels there also have wedding packages.

Playa del Carmen and the mayan riviera were 2 of the place I was considering.
I think cabo is more on the expensive side - right? Can you recommend where to stay? Thanks so much for your advice.

I'm looking into Playa del Carmen. I've been researching wedding coordinators and have found a lot. Would love if someone could recommend (or warn against!) any coordinators used previously. It seems that most of the big, all inclusive resorts offer wedding coordination packages, but I'm looking for something more personal. Any help would be much appreciated!!

There is a lady named Teresa, her forum name is ImagineThat, she is a wedding coordinator. I spoke with her, and she gave me ideas as to how to organize everything; but, our price ranges were off. Anyway, she wasn't bad. I didn't actually sign anything with her; my fiance and I found the perfect place, and everything has worked itself out, except for a few things.
