View Full Version : My Cake I finally ordered it

ok this is the generic photo of my cake but I made some changes, as soon as i can get a scetch of the actual cake I will post it or when my wedding is over and I get pictures of the actual cake I willdefinetly put those up.

This is the main piller of the cake with the fountain under it surrounded with calla lillies then on the top tier we are having a groom & bride plain topper and right below it there will be some more calla lillies between the colums.
(from the top) at the 3rd tier there are stairs that lead to another detached/lower tier and off of that tier there is another stair case leading to the final tier also detached but not elevated.
There will be blue ribbon drapped on the stair cases.
The Icing is light blue with white and dark blue trimming and no flowers directly on the cake.
We are having 175 people and a 6 tier cake hopefully it's enough
We are also getting an anniversary cake all included inthe price.
I guess then I will be on here asking how to preserve it LOL.
We just have not decided on the filling but I am leaning toward lemon and chocolate buttercream with marble cake we got a sample of it and it's delicious.

I am sorry that i can't find on exactly and that I made all those changes. Hope I explained it in understanable sentences LOL I get lost in thought and I was trying to fit everything in while I was picturing the cake.
The fountain was FH idea LOL he felt he helped but it will be a perfect addition and the baker has a cake fountain so it worked out perfectly.

I love the cake, it is very beautiful! I bet that costs! JK!! It is really pretty though. What flavor is it going to be?

LOL actually I don't know how much it costs because it is included in the person price that the restaurant gave us, they work with this particular pastry shoppe all the time and I asked around before ordering it and they are one of the best in our area. but if I were to buy it I am sure I would have toned it down a bit LOLOL

We decided that the flavor will be the lemon and chocolate buttercream with a buttercream icing. we had our family try a piece of the sample cake and they loved it as much as we did so we are going with the lemon and chocolate buttercream.
