D.J. or Band?

What is everyone having - D.J. or Band? What are they charging you? Our D.J. is a friend of the family and he is doing it for free, the band we aren't sure what they are charging - not sure how long we want them to play.

We are having a DJ and it will cost $600.

we are having a dj...$500 for 4 hours...$100 for any additional hours...and we can decide that the day of...if the party is going well and we want to keep going we can just give the guy $100 and he will play another hour...around here, bands are way more expensive than djs, but this was the only reputable dj that didn't hike up their prices just because it was a wedding...most of the other places were the same price for a "party" with the same number of people...but a "wedding" automatically jumped up to at least $900

DJ (well, we're 95% sure anyway)... and the DJ's we've priced are approx. $1000.00 for four hours. We only found one that waws $600 - everyone else is in that $1000.00 range!

DJ for $350. He's a local radio station dj that does weddings and parties on the side. That's for 4 or 5 hours and he charges $15 per extra hour.

We are having a DJ and he charges $500 for unlimited hours at your event, this is the best price we could find and the only one of two with unlimited hours, plus he has been doing this for 20 years and is a really nice guy.

I"ve got a DJ who is the BOMB, $895 for 6 hrs. And he's giving me one hr free, since the repcetion site is 6 hrs.
