Country or no?

For our first dance I am a bit confused and would like some opinions. My Fh and I are not Country listeners nor are we "country" type people. We listen to more rock, rap and pop (mostly rap) we have a few songs that are between us but those aren't your typical wedding songs and I don't want them played because of the lyrics and I don't want to offend anyone. Lets just say Puddle of Mudd sings one and Nine Inch Nails sings the other (you can use your imaginiation on the songs) HOwever, Tim Mcgraws song My Best Friend is so sweet and I honeslty feel that FH is my best friend. I can not dance country and feel real uncomforatble slow dancing to such a long song. Does anyone have any suggestions on our first song. Something short is what I heard to be best (like 2 min or something) and a song that resembles us. Plus having the first song country might set the mood to the reception and that will more than likely be the only country song played. Any help or song ideas?

I absolutely love that song. Bry and I currently are planning on using It's Your Love but I really really want to change it to that song. But, i'm a huge country fan.

I love the song "To Make You Feel My Love" - the Bob Dylan version... It won't be our wedding song (I suggested another artist's version to my sister for her wedding and she used it)... I'm not big into country either. I think it's a nice song...

Well I love that Tim Mcgraw it is mine and my hubbys Song (he sang it to me in the begining and has ever since)...all it is is a slow song you just dance like normal slowly nothing country about it really. If you really want to dance to that song cut out the last 2 chorus parts.

So it would just be this

if you cut out after the first chorus... that would sound ok .. if they fade into another song.. if that makes sense... That would make the song 1:44


And if you let the second verse run and cut after that first chours at the OH OH OH your my bestfriend ... that would make it 3:10

But the song itself is 4:39
