I am new at all this on the reply envelope are you suppose to put your address on the front and on the flap of the envelope

I thought "reply" envelopes were the small ones that go inside the invitation and are used for the RSVP that's mailed back to you? (pre-stamped)

It seems weird to put an address only on the back flap?
Are you sure the question was clear?

Will the post office deliver an envelope with no address on the front?

Reply envelopes are only addressed on the front to YOU. This is what gets returned to you with the RSVP inside. The invitation envelope (what you send out to people - the whole package) - the return address (in case its undeliverable) is on the back flap of the envelope.
