Are we talking historical cinderella or Disney cinderella? I can give you ideas for both.

Have you considered renting thrones for the bride and grooma t the reception? THey would need to be gold guilded with red velvet cushions.

Hi there. . .I had a Cinderella wedding! :)
Here are my detail pictures that might help you with some decorating ideas.
Our ice sculpture:

The backdrop behind our headtable. . .before the lights were out and people showed up:

This is what it looked like when the lights were dimmed and all ready to go:

Castle cake:

We had this in the front of the reception hall, before walking into the actual ballroom (sorry about the blurry pic):

That is really all I had. There were a few glass slipper things strategically placed here and there throughout the reception (candy buffet table, chocolate fountain table), etc.

Hey, you're in St. Louis too! Which banquet hall did you use?

Hey there! :)
We actually had the reception at a hotel/ballroom in Fairview Heights, IL. It was at the Fountains at the Four Points Sheraton. It is BEAUTIFUL! :)
OH, and the backdrop for the headtable was made just for our wedding. . .but the lady that made it now rents it out from her shop. It is A-1 Rentals in Collinsville, IL. :)
Let me know if you need anything else! :D

I wish I could have had a cinderella wedding. I love cinderella but I ***e from a very poor family so that kind of wedding would have never happened for us. Hubby and I are renewing our vows and that kind of wedding just wouldn't be appropriate now.
Sooo jealous!
But now we're doing an "Only Time" theme.... its going to center around the lyricsc to Enya's "Only Time" and have kind of an irish/scottish feel since my family is Irish!
You're wedding was just beautiful.
sooooooo jealous. :p

That sounds like a neat theme! My Hubby is part Irish, so we like things like that. (True red-head with lots of freckles. haha :))

Hi, my name is Mary. I am from the Northeastern part of Pa, about 2 hours north of Philadelphia. I am getting married in April of 2007 and I am having extreme difficulty finding alot of Cinderella/fairytale items for my dream wedding. The items that I do find are so overpriced - it does not fit into my budget. Ex: $200.00 for a caketopper!!!
Anyhow, does anyone know of any websites or catalogs that I can order to get a jump start.
So, far found the dress, the horse and carriage ride, and a few other small things but still feel that I am missing something for some reason...
So, ladies if you have any suggestions - please do so.
Thanks,
Mary in Pa.
