Has anyone heard of having gift bears? I have two cousins Molli is 10 and her brother Sam is 7 but he is kinda naughty. Molli is too old to be a flowergirl and Sam is too naughty to be the ring bear. But I would really like to have them do something in my wedding. So my aunt suggested gift bears and their mom could also keep an eye on them while they do that. Any thoughts?
thanks faithe

"Gift bears" to me imply those cute little fuzzy teddies you pick up from Hallmark with flowers or candy...

I heard a story once in which the young man selected as a ring bearER made the same mistake you are making. He took a couple steps down the aisle, paused, reared his arms back while making a ferocious face, and growled loudly at the assembled guests. He did this every few steps all the way down the aisle, to the amusement of the guests and the chagrin of the bride. When asked later what he was doing, he replied in all seriousness, "Being the ring BEAR!" :D
