I finally got everything I needed to complete my dress (petticoat, jewelry, shoes, tiara, veil), so here are some pics :D . I had my bridesmaids over yesterday to make invitations (which is why the house is such a mess :p, so pardon the untidiness...), so I did my hair and had them help me into everything. I'm getting real excited now, less than 3 months away!!!!!

I am still in awe that I got this dress for $199!!! I think it was definately my best buy :).

Laurie, I got the dress at Beverly's Bridal in Salem (they actually closed at the end of this year though). I bought it back in July, it was on the clearance rack (a discontinued Maggie). I had tried on another Maggie that was marked down to $499, which I liked, but it wasn't "the one", then I tried on this dress, and before I even asked the price (I wasn't looking at the prices when I was trying the dresses on) I knew it was "the one", and when I walked out my Mom was getting all teary eyed and she loved it too. I asked how much is was and the woman who owns the shops says "that one is $499 like the first one you tried on", then the girl who was helping me into the dress says, "actually on the tag it got marked down to $199", the woman who owns the shop didn't believe her till she went over to look at the tag herself. I bought it then and there, I knew when I left that the dress was probably going to be marked back up to $499 :). When I went to pick the dress up right after XMas the woman gave me the matching purse for nothing because they were closing :), I don't think I'll really have much use for it (maybe at the reception), but I thought that was nice.

It was finally sinking in last night that the wedding was right around the corner, I'm so pysched!!!!

That's such a great price for a Maggie!! I've never heard of that bridal shop, I just went to David's in Nashua and that was it. Awww, that's so sweet that your mother got teary eyed!!

Thanks everyone!! I am totally in love with my dress :). It's funny when I picked my dress up after XMas the shop was closing down so I started looking around at other dresses because there were some other great deals. I actually even tried one on... Then she brought out my dress and I was like, nope that's the one :D

Yup that is a saltwater fishtank :). Ours has been quiet neglected lately as well, it used to be very beautiful, but we didn't keep up with it and lost a lot of our nicer corals. Mike actually owns a saltwater aquarium shop, that's actually how we met :). I was a customer :D. He says it's my job to keep up the tank because when he gets home from work he doesn't feel like sticking his hands back in saltwater :), which I can't blame him.

I'm not too sure how I'm going to wear my hair yet. I was thinking half up half down (similar to the picture). My hair is soooooo thin and fine that I look bald if I wear it all up :), but I'll probably go for a trial run at the hairdresser and see what she recommends.
