I went shopping this weekend with my mom and was expecting to try on all the usual white wedding gowns. The instant we walked into the first bridal shop I laid eyes on this gown. Totally unexpected, but I fell in love with it. After shopping around a little bit, I KNEW it was the one!

Now the wedding shop I bought it from was a little shady and wouldn't release the designer of it. Something about it being a test-dress and they couldn't release the name. Does ANYONE have any idea who might make it?

That dress is really pretty. That's weird that they wouldn't tell you who made it. Isn't it on the tag anywhere?? I've seen some like it before, but I don't know the designer.

Yeah, the whole place was a little sketchy in my opinion. They wouldn't let you take any pictures unless you bought the dress (my mom snuck that one while the lady was doing something else) ...they said the owner of the shop was a lawyer and wouldn't allow pictures taken. I'm not sure if they were just trying to keep us from copying the design and having it made or what?

And then the fact they wouldn't tell us the designer was really weird too. I wasn't sure how to take that one.

Have any of you ladies ever been to a dress shop that didn't allow pictures or wouldn't tell designers? And if any of you know who the designer of this gown might be, I'd be forever grateful!!! :)

Alot of the bridal shops I've been to don't allow pics and try not to tell the designer. They are feeling the heat from online competitors. It looks like it may be a Bonny gown. I know she has some gowns with color accents. If the gown is brand new from the 2006 lines, it may not be on the websites yet. I'll keep my eyes peeled for the designer! It looks great on you!

That is a gorgeous gown!! I don't know who the designer is. I think that is pretty weird that they wouldn't even tell you the name of the designer. Very pretty though!!

I'm hoping that maybe since I bought the dress, they'll release the designer of it. Maybe I'll give them a call and ask...now that i'm throwing some cash their way hopefully they'll give in!

I know Alfred Angelo has some color-accented dresses that come in a bunch of colors....probably a few blues! :)

I have no idea who the designer might be. That's so weird though. Every dress shop I went to had no problem telling the name of the designer and let me take as many pictures as I wanted. I don't care it it's business or fear of their competitors, I wouldn't buy a dress from someone who refused to give me that information. For all I know, they could be trying to sell me a knockoff at full price. But I guess that's just me.

One place I went to wouldn't let me take pictures. The other two places let me take pictures of whatever I wanted. As for the designer, my dress was an "exclusive designer" or something like that. It was a designer that the shop goes through. It ended up being a Maggie knock off. I haven't seen that dress though, just similar ones.

Now that we officially ordered the gown, they FINALLY told me the designer. It's apparently made by "Symphony Bridals" so immediately I went online and found it! Has anyone heard of Symphony? Are they well known???

That was kinda shady on their part...............SHADY. Their reason doesn't make sense. It's a very pretty dress though, I guess worth the little trouble they gave u.
