Lately, we have been considering Disney World for our honeymoon. We need to decide this soon since our wedding is getting oh so close. My questions is should we go through a travel agent? Or should I just book things online myself?

Depends I know that we didn't use a travel agent for our honeymoon and we got really good deals. I have used a travel agent before and it was great but it is up to you. Just remeber their services are free for you so y not try if you think they can help you out!

disney reservations center is good..they can help you plan your vacation with out allthe extra costs. I would not go through some local TA.. kinda embarrising. With disney rep you can book meal times and tickets and hotels. I can help you out also if you want i live here just pm me if you want some adtil info

I also heard/read that you shouldn't book a package through Disney. They said that the packages cost more than the individual parts (room, tickets, etc) added together.

I would look into both and find out what's the best price and best deal for what you are getting. One could be better than the other, but you never know which one till you look into both and see your options and see if they have and good deals! I used a travel agent cause she had the best deal but I know booking on some of those travel websites...you can find great deals, especially for air fair. Good Luck!!!

For something like that, I think you should be able to book stuff yourself. I used a travel agent, but I'm going to Hawaii :D . And since everything costs SOOOOO much there, I'm glad I got a travel agent that can get me some good deals. I guess just shop around and see what comes up with the best price. You can usually see an agent and just get an estimate.
