Has anyone been married in The Smoky Mountain region?

Hi,
My fiance and I are planning a wedding in Tennessee, May 22,2004. I would like to know if anyone has been married somewhere close to the Smoky Mountians, Gatlinburg, or Pigeon Forge. Any information about whether you had a good experience or terrible?
Please hurry, I'm running out of time fast!hahaha. OhMyGod! I don't even have my dress yet!UGH!!!!

Hope I'm doing this right-First reply on this site- a little diff.
So, yes my Mom got remarried over memorial weekend 01. It was gorgues, they got married in Gaitlinburg, in a really cute chapel on the outskirts-it looked like an old church. Sorry I can't remember the name of it. But it had a big staircase, great props for outside pics, they did a great job on both pic and the video, and it wasn't by anything so it felt really intimate. Very Cute! And while there we had a great time in Gaitlinburg!

I've seen that you're already married but I'd like to know where you were married in Gatlinburg and how it turned out. I am getting married there 10/16/04.
