My dad's gf had a great idea yesterday that I think we'll do, and I wanted to share....
I live on Vancouver island, and there are many beautiful beaches here, a lot within a 5 min drive. There is a particular cove that Joel and I have lots of picnics at during the summer, and is absolutely beautiful with sandy beach and huge flat rocks that you can walk out on the water. I REALLY wanted to do some wedding pics at the cove, but you have to walk down quite a long dirt path, then down a really steep stair case of about 100 stairs. We don't have enough time to do this between the ceremony and reception, and I was concerned about falling/ getting the dress too dirty/ the weather. My dad's gf suggested putting on the dress later after the wedding, (a month or 2), Joel could wear his formal black suit, and they'd take a bunch of pics of us. There are a lot of great digital ***eras in my family. She even said, wear some tight shorts and a ***i, and then just slip the dress on down there to save the mess. we could even do the barefoot beach photos, etc that always look so beautiful. This way would be alot more relaxed and we could pick any day, based on the weather. Plus, I'm sad at only wearing my beuatiful dress for 1 day, and this would give me another chance! Sorry for the long explanation, but I thought it was a great idea! :)
