I'm getting married in Feb 2007, and I would like the theme of the wedding to be winter. So the decorations would be snowflakes in colors of blues, whites, and silver; but being a Feb wedding, I would also kinda like to have reds and I don't know how to do all this? Would it look ok if I had blue and white snowflakes as decorations and dark Red bridesmaid dresses? Any suggestions are welcomed! thanks

I think it would look fine. If you incorporated red into your flower color scheme, it would really accent the color without overdoing it. My colors are green, ivory, and silver (St. Patrick's Day), and I have red roses and petals and red bridesmaids gowns.

I think it would be beautiful. I would just be extra careful how I coordinate things. It might end up as 4th of July. But how you described would be beautiful.

I am doing kind of the samething (colors) accept my wedding is in August at sunset!!!! I'm wearing light blue, my BM is wearing black and I'm having red roses with stephanotis and blue pearls in the center of the stephanotis. The great thing is that the bouquets will really stand out.

What you can do is White/Ivory wedding dress, Red BM dresses, blue and white flowers. It would look absolutely awesome!!

I am getting married in Jan 07.... in Michigan so there isnt much of a choice of the winter theme. I was not too excited about it at first b/c I am originally from florida so this cold and snow stuff is not my thing.
During a discussion about colors with my FH (him wanting a hunting theme LOL) I saw what I wanted in my mind. I am going with Midnight Blue, Diamond White and Silver..... I am going to do Starlight and Glistening Snow kind of thing. Having just recently made this choice in the last week I have yet to fine all of the decorations and such that are going to fit the theme....
But if this helps at all with wondering about throwing a different color in there.... our head table is going to have a centerpiece in hunting colors....
I had to give into him on that much since he gave in on the whole thing being in green and orange......
