Monique Lehuillier?

Has anyone gotten or looked at Monique LeHuillier? My fashion design major friend said that she is suppossed to be the 'new' vera wang. I donno tho, I've always dreamed of vera wang! Anyways, let me know if anyone has tried them on or anything! :)

Oh man, I would take a Monique over a Vera ANY DAY ;) I am in love with so many of her gowns....to me, Vera Wang wedding dresses are a bit bland, with only the rare exception when she designs one especially for some celebrity.

I think prices are very similar, so it's worth checking out!

Really? thats what my friend said, too. I will deffinately look into her dresses. I mean, I want something simple but at the same time I want it really intricate and elegant. I've never seen a monique dress. I tried to get on her website at work but it wouldn't let me for some reason. Anyways, I'll deffinately try on both!

LOL! OMG! I soooooooooooooooo wish I could try on a Monique Lhuillier gown. Sadly, it wouldn't be in even my wildest of dreams. :(
It's okay though... I don't think they even carry her gowns anywhere around here. I would have to drive to Missouri or Colorado or something. I think spending more than a $1000 on a dress is considered splurging around here.
But, with that said... I think her gowns are absolutely gorgeous! WAY better than most of the Vera Wang dresses I've seen (... pictures of. ;) ). If I were given the choice, I would definately pick Monique. They are so beautiful. :)

I just checked out her line of dresses and they are georgeous! I like her designs better than Vera Wang as well. She has more of a something for everyone. Good luck in the dress hunt!

I had heard of Monique Lhuillier a few years ago...even before I had heard of Vera Wang. So her gowns have been around for a while. I personally love them.
