Girls, just wanted to give anyone in this area a heads up on how bad dealing with this place was. I had my BM dresses ordered from the Wedding Mall. They were soooo nice until we had ordered the dresses. Then, they transformed into the worst customer service I have ever received. We ordered my dresses in July for a November wedding. They waited to put the order in for a couple weeks...then they ordered the wrong shirt for my sister because they somehow decided that I had put the wrong number down and we couldn't possibly want the shirt we ordered (we did separates and each girl chose their own top- my sister was breastfeeding so she chose a top that buttoned up the front to make things easier. they ordered her a halter top...ugggh) so, they had to re-order my sisters top and argued with me about whose fault it was and tried to tell me I called them to change it when i absolutely didnt.
Then, my girls dresses didn't get here until Nov. 15th and my wedding was on Nov. 26th. Then, we realized they had ordered every dress 1-2 sizes too big. I guess figuring they would get to make money on alterations.

Prior to this my SIL had another wedding the month before they had used the same place...well she had gone for an alterations appointment...which the store had made and the owner then began to berate my SIL that didn't she know it was Saturday and they were busy with customers and didn't have time for alterations to be done. Then he said she would just have to reschedule...to which my SIL pointed out they had made the appointment. He grabbed her arm and shoved her out the door and told her to make another appointment during the week. So, after that incident I was determined not to use their alterations.
Almost everyone of my girls had to have serious alterations to their dresses. (i.e. all of their alterations cost more then the alterations to my dress if that tells you something) Most of them had to have their dresses completely reconstructed with less then a week before the wedding to get all of this done.
The owner of this store was nothing but rude and nasty to everyone of us after the dresses have been ordered and I don't want any other bride to go through what we had to go through with these dresses. it is well worth a little extra money to not deal with this kind of stress.

You should contact your local Better Business Bureau and file a complaint. You may find out that there is similar complaints made about that company.

Seriously. That's completely uncalled for.

Okay, I don't know what I did that was so bad. I just know that sometimes you can find out from your Better Business Bureau if similar complaints have been made about a company. That's how some people do business, they look to see if the company is a business who is associated with the Better Business Bureau and if they have a good rating or not. I'm sorry if you think what I said was uncalled for, she seemed very displeased with the company.

Oh no no no. I meant that what the company did was completely uncalled for. I didn't mean you. I totally agree with you that she needs to call the better business bureau. I'm sorry for the misunderstanding.

I'm hoping she was agreeing with you and saying that she should serioulsy call the BBB to complain. I think I would.

Hey, I just looked that store up on the BBB and they do have complaints. Mostly about poor customer service and misrepresented product. Oh and the BBB has tried to contact them about the complaints and they never responded.

Don't worry. I was sitting here thinking "okay, I thought that was good advice, maybe not, wonder why!" And then you posted that you didn't mean it like that. Written text can be read so many different ways! Don't feel bad! I've been working too long today.

I had a feeling that may have not been the first time. I would defidently make your own complaint. The more people that experience bad service, maybe they will eventually change their ways or not get much business.

Yeah this is true. I definately agree she should file her own complaint.

Perhaps this is a lesson to all of us that we need to be checking into bridal shops (or any other wedding-related business for that matter) before agreeing to do business with them. If you know a company hasn't had any complaints... then it is more likely that you will not have a problem there either.

Absolutely, I agree. I probably would have if I didn't know another bride who ordered from there a month before me and seemed to have a good experience....little did we know that they would turn on us after we actually ordered. UGGGH! I definately wanted to warn people who might be in the same area on these sites about what happened. Also, when I went to pick up my sister's dress, there were 2 girls in there looking at BM dresses and I told them about my experience and they turned around and left. After what we went through I was determined to not let it happen to anyone else I know and promised I would post something here once my wedding was over and I could catch my breath. Hopefully this will help someone!
