I have been toying with the idea of a bubble theme for my wedding. It's in July and the colors are red orange and yellow. By chance bubbles and round shapes keep coming up. The cake we want is actually called a bubble cake (http://www.trumpscatering.com/bubblecake1.htm) with circles all over it, we cannot throw things at the reception site so we plan on having bubbles blown, the invitation have little raised dots as a boarder. Before I start planning round glass bowls for the centerpieces I wanted to see if anyone had any ideas that I might add or if I'll just keep with the no set theme we have going now.

One thing I thought about doing with the guest book is having izone polaroid ***eras, and a book to put the pics and messages in. But for a background, I was going to do a red backdrop and a bubble machine to add the bubbles in the background. I know toy's r us has a small one for 9.99 and the solution is about 2.99 for a 2 gallon bottle. If you are having a dance floor, you could always have a couple bubble machines aimed at the dance floor (those would make really cool pics). You could also do round white lanterns hung from the ceiling. You could get clear christmas ornaments from Michael's and hang those from the ceiling. You could also get the ornaments and decorate the inside with a few little silk flowers and a nice themed ribbon and use those a place cards and/or favors. You could get pearl balloons and use those in the reception for centerpieces or anything really. MayFlowers has a lot of balloon ideas in her journal. You could use pearls in your bouquets to represent little bubbles. These are champagne centerpieces with balloons for bubbles.

If I can think of anything else I will let you know.

What you could also do, is buy the clear glass or plastic christmas ornaments when they go on sale, and use them as favors. Put a few candies in them or something, its a bubble and would go great with your theme.

Bubbles are awsome! I like the idea of the clear Christmas ornament balls...you could put bridal bubbles inside and give that as a gift...i also like the balloon ideas that a few people suggested...the only other thing I can think of that reminds me of bubbles is bath beads....those might be a neat favor (a little tulle baggie of bath beads?) or maybe float them in a glass bowl with floating candles?
