Ok, well my wedding is more than a year away but I want get a theme so I could figure out exactly how to plan it. Blue is like my absolute favourite colour so I know whatever theme I have it would have to have in that colour. I kinda like the combination of blue and silver. Was thinking of having my colours as blue, silver and white. Wanted to find a theme to go along wid it. So far the only ones poping into my head wid would be like a royalty theme or a kinda celestial something. Any other ideas?

Do you have invitations picked out yet? I went with silver and white with a little bit of periwinkle after I found these invitations

Then I just decided to go with the double hearts as my theme

Start ordering free bridal catalogs online and if you find an invitation that you like, you could incorporate that into your theme.

Oh I think a celestial theme sounds nice. I've seen some really nice invites with stars and stuff on them and you could use white lights all over the reception site and stuff.

I haven't picked out my invitationss as yet. I am now in the process of looking for a wedding consultant as my wedding will not be in my country of residence. Wanted to have a theme to give her and was gonna use the theme to pick out invitations, centrepieces, etc.

In my mind I seeing like silver stars and moons hanging from the roof, or like a black roof wid twinkling lights representing stars.

That sounds way pretty to me and!! You could get little star and moon charms for the tables and maybe use some candles to give off some glow.

that sounds really cool. You could have your theme be "Starry Night" or something like that. Where is your wedding going to be?

I'm trying to get my wedding together too, but I can't decide if I should get plain flowers or get a bouquet made from crystals or pearls in from this shop I know. Here's picture of it. The designer can create anything, but I can't decide. Hhhheeellpp!! She only has three 2005 collections left.

Geez, I had no idea you were supposed to have a theme. I was just thinking of what I wanted at the wedding. Traditional is my style. I'm getting married in October, but I do not want anything to do with pumpkins/halloween. If anyone has any suggestions doing with the color blue...that would be wonderful.

I don't have a theme either. We are getting married in August. Ceremony in Vegas, reception in Illinois. Wedding colors will probably be blue and green, maybe with ivory or something else thrown in to blend them. For themes I was thinking maybe wedding cakes- like I work with that for favors- I saw these little wedding cake candles I liked and I could make sugar cookie wedding cakes as well... but I don't know.

I've been trying to think of other ideas for ages... I'm probably making it too complicated. How do you get theme ideas anyway?

I don't know about online, but you could try a paint store. You could go to the lowe's or home depot web site and look for colors on there and then just copy and paste. That's the only idea I can come up with. It's always good to see a color in person though. I found mine by looking through the walmart paint dept. swatches.

I'm TRYING for my colors to be Turquoise (more blue than green) and silver. My best friend keeps telling me to come up with a theme, but I can't think of anything other than silver hearts...and that doesn't seem like a "theme" to me.

I too am doing the double heart theme. If you do want to do this theme there is alot of stuff out for it out right now all over the place .. at walmart just about every craft store.. online etc.

I think the starry night theme would be beautiful....expecially if you could do it at night under the stars which wouldnt make for good pictures but it would be oh so romantic.

There are so many possibilites here just decide what you like... look around for things when you think about ideas see how much stuff you can find to keep with your theme. And also think about budget... if you have one.

Although remember you don't have to have a theme it just helps to tie it all together.
