Hello everyone. I'm the new member and I have an issue. Well I'm getting married on January 29, 2006. Well I know the dress I want but I'm scared because its on the mary's magazine. I'm scared that if I order it it wont be the same as seen in picture. I'm in the dilemma b/w should I or shouldn't I. My dress has to be covered and long sleeved and this is the only long sleeved dress that I ABSOLUTELY love. What do you all think? :confused:

My experience is that most dresses look the same when you order them as they do in the picture. However, not all dresses look good on all body types. where are you at? If you are close to NC, there is a dress place in burlington that has over 3000 dresses in stock and a lot of Mary's dresses. they may have one you can try on.

OMG! You're getting married in January and you don't have a dress yet?! Don't those take like 4 months to come in???? Anyways, the dress should look just as it does in the pic. Just remember that it may not look as good on you as it does on the model. I've seen pictures of dresses on models and then tried the dress on and thought "ewwww". I would definately go somewhere that has a lot of dress in stock so you can try it on and make sure you like it.

Well I live in a small town in Florida and I tried looking everywhere in the big cities but NOTHING. My wedding is a muslim wedding and its very hard to find long sleeve dresses that just says WOW! My wedding is very formal since there are to be 350 people showing up. I need something that separates me from everybody else :)

have you tried orlando? we have about 50 or so decent mary's reps.. all in altamonte springs area.. im sure u can find something.. contace.. mydaughters wedding... its a botuique (badly missspelled) they had abotu every mary's dess somone wanted once.

well why not get a dress that has a sort of lace jaket or a bolero to go over it. it's stillv ery striking and demure.

What about St Patrick gowns? They are absolutely beautiful and some have either long sleeves or a long sleeve jacket.

Well... I like the lace, bell-style sleeves... the Queen Anne neckline... the open back... the gorgeous train... and all the beading and lace are just lovely. I like the color they are showing it in too... I think ivory is so beautiful.

this dress might not be an option for you...I noticed on the bridesave site that regular shipping would get this to you in the March/April 2006 time frame and the rush with paying extra wouldn't get it to you until Feb. 25th. You might have to go and try to buy something off the rack this close to your wedding.
