How many of you will be doing the grooms cakes?? and what will you be doing??

I will be! My FH wants something casino style to match our theme. Either dice, poker chip or table.

I like these so far, but it is up to my FH to pick. It is his cake. I am just showing him ideas.

Yes, we're doing a groom's cake. It will either be a Nascar cake (because FH loves Jeff Gordon!) or a 10 layer yellow cake with chocolate icing and have his table decorated with either basketball or Nascar stuff. I found these chocolate basketballs that I thought would be great to accent the cake with!

Of course we'll be having a groom's cake! I'm not sure what he wants yet though. I was thinking like some kind of cartoon character... since he likes stuff like that. He's not really into baseball or football. And he doesn't play golf or go hunting. And he's not really into wrestling, nascar, or anything like that. Oh, he does like Uconn basketball though. Maybe a Husky cake!! LOL!

We really don't see the point in it, so we opted not to do a grooms wedding cake. We can share! :D

I just asked Mario if he wants a grooms cake and he said only if it's shapes as a bong with a six chamber bowl, over flowing with chocolate as the smoke... One for each person in the party... LOL! I told him yeah, nice impression on my family!

This might be an idea for us to consider. FH hates chocolate which I love. So we might have to check into one that is white with strawberry filling or something, have no clue how to decorate it though, maybe something fire department related.

You could maybe elaborate on that a little and do a puff the magic dragon cake or an alice in wonderland cake. Something like that w/ the double/hidden meaning???? A little far fetched but it would suprise him.

I want to have a grooms cake. Bobby doesn't know about it though. My colors are red, white, and black. I want to do a Detroit Lions cake which will be blue & gray. I don't care if it goes w/ the colors.

We're doing one but I have no idea of what! He loves football so maybe the texans? And he plays computer games alot, but I don't think I want any sort of computer theme. I saw a cute one that had a football/beer theme, but I lost it! One more thing to find!
