Compatible Colors...

My fiance is in the Air Force. I have always wanted to have a fall wedding with pumpkin shades and caramels and golds. However, a requirement of the military is that he must wear his blue uniform instead of a tuxedo. I am having a difficult time trying to find colors that will be compatible with his blue uniform. Any ideas?? I am desperate!!

blue and fall colours go i think.. i mean dark blue is sort of a fall colour along with dark greens and dark purples and reds and oranges and yellows...

They make him wear his uniform? That's ridiculous. Anyway, I really think uniforms are kind of universal. I mean, if he was wearing just a blue suit with fall colors that might look weird, but if it's a uniform, I think that will kind of go with everything.

blues and browns are one of my favorite color combos. and blue and gold would certainly go well too. I'd be careful with more of an orangy color though... might not be bad but not appropriate for a wedding in my opinion

My freinds little brother just got married and their wedding was all yellow and white and he still wore his blue uniform. It didn't look out of place at all. I think everything will look nice no matter that and he looked sooo handsome in his uniform. :)

Unless he is getting married on base BY the chaplain he can wear anything that he wants. Now if he wants to wear the uniform, than the colors you want will go fine with it.

A friend of mine and her husband are both AF, and she did a fall theme with leaves and the typical fall colors. And him wearing his dress blues didn't look funny. It was all quite beautiful actually.

Take it from former military, go with GOLD and BROWN and then you can take it around to orange and yellow!!!!
