We're planning a July 2007 wedding right now b/c we were both going to be done with school that may. Well now I"m going to be done with school next december and our anniversary which is ion december falls on a saturday next year. So, we were thinking that since we'd both love to get married on a beach (we opted for a church wedding to have our marriage recognized by the church) that we might go have a small beach wedding on our anniversary.
Does anyone know where we could have a cheap beach wedding in December?

Can you narrow down what beach area you might be interested in? Did you want to stay in the continental U.S. or travel to an island? If it is in the U.S., do want to be on th east coast, west coast, etc.?

We would most likely stay in the U.S. Since we live on the east coas that would probably be easier but it would depend on what it costs to go where.

Florida is a great idea (can't believe I didn't think of it). Outter banks was the place I was thinking of. My parents will be living in NC then and his mom spends winters in FL and NC is on her way down there.

If if the location didn't get hit, if a hurricane went by off shore, they would have erosion.

I just noticed your wedding date isn't until 2007, so most damage right now, will have been repaired, but you still have to consider next hurricane season.

yeah you should try to have it down here in florida cos the weather is great and there are so many options where to have it the prices range.... also keep in mind if you want a sunset wedding and u wanna see the sun, have it on west florida ie naples or ft myers or tamps... or u could wake up early to see the sun rise on the east coast and drive the 2 hours to the west coast to see it set at night lol!

Thanks for the suggestions. I never even thought about how the hurricanes effected the beaches.
If we do the beach thing we would do that in December of 2006.
It all depends on FH what we do though.
