Hey ladies-
I'm having a really hard time picking out favors. What I want to know is how much should you spend on this? I am having roughly 130-150 guests, and I'm clueless as to how much is too much to spend or how much is not enough. So I need some ideas ladies-what is everyone spending on this?

I've run into this also. We are having 250-300 guests and spending $1 per favor is a little out of our budge. Doesn't seem too much per favor but when you consider how many guests we are having... Anyway, we've decided to just do this:

Then we will use a stamp with our names and double hearts on them and put some hershey kisses (silver ones) in them. I'm betting that we will probably spend about $50 depending on the cost of the paper.

Some people spend more money on favors than others. Some people decide to have extravagent gifts for the guests and others are just simple ones. You really don't need to have favors, I've been to several weddings that didn't. We just thought it would be a nice idea to have a little chocolate at each plate. We can get 2 large bags of kisses that should be able to have 3 in each box for $7-8 a peice at Costco.

these ones are shinny. but you can get cheaper ones.
and fill them with red hots, hot tamales (if you choose red and white)
i found these bags on ebay for .20 each all in different colors. then i went to their website. http://www.balloons-galore.net/pd_3_x_4.cfm
