Questions about wedding venues in Vegas

Hello everyone,

The fiance and I are both tired of wedding drama and tired of trying to please both our parents about everything :mad:
, so we're planning on flying off to Vegas the first weekend in May to get married. We were planning on getting married Labor Day weekend (9/3/06) but we'll just hold our reception on that day instead.

I've been lurking around in this forum reading about Vegas weddings. I have several questions:

I really like The Grove (http://www.lasvegasweddingsatthegrove.com) (Ok Ok, maybe I'm falling in love with them and the idea of getting married there) and I'm wondering if any of you have had any experience with them. I've looked at all the other chapels and all the packages offered from those chapels, but this is the one that stuck out the most to me.

If you have any suggestions for affordably-priced hotels and beauty salons near there, I'd appreciate the tips. :D

I know this doesn't answer your question in the slightest, but I wanted to let you know that fiance and I are probably going to have at least our ceremony in Vegas. Maybe the whole shindig (he gets nervous at the idea of a big crowd) because that is one way to keep it small.
