I want to scream!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I need some advice and to vent my sister is driving me crazy!!! I have had a problem with her since well forever but I usually just ignore her and she leaves me alone. I think the problem is she being that she is 10 years older than me she tends to act like my mom (one mom is enough especially when it comes to a wedding). I had originally asked her to be in my wedding and her and my other sister backed out because they each have 2 kids that will be in the wedding. Ever since she backed out she doesn't want to help she want to run things and she is now threatening to not have her kids in the wedding because well I really don't even know why. Her daughter is my only flower girl and her son is my jr groomsmen and I can think of replacements but I don't know if I should just get them incase or how I can get her to stop stressing me out. If anyone has any idea of what I can do or should do please let me know.

You need to have a "plan b" :o im in the same situation - my sister who is 7 years older than me does not really get along with my dad - and we arent that close. I have been including her in everything, as my maid of honor, communicating to her all of the bridesmaids info, but havent heard back from her. I was engaged in April, and its now November and I still havent heard back from her.
So I stopped thinking about it and she is now more than welcome to be my 2nd maid of honor, or just be a guest. I didnt even post it on here because there is nothing I can do.
But what you can do, is use your replacements, and if in case she changes her mind, the replacements can still be a part of the wedding. They can be children ushers, or do offering (i dont know what kind of wedding you have), or gifts, or programs... and if she does back out, you can use them. Or account for double the flower girls and jr. groomsmen. Guys are easy since you can make them ushers. Flower girls, you can never have too many.
Dont let her stress you out, its your day, not hers. With everything else accounted for on your wedding day, you will live through it and get over it, but she will remember making this hard for you for the rest of her life. Dont worry too much, just plan around it if possible..
