what color flowers?

I love the pictures of bouquets you posted in your journal--the pinks and purples. I think they're gorgeous, and will look great with the green and white. Perfectly beautiful, especially for a June wedding!! :)

Thanks Kelly! I guess the reason I'm having doubts is cause my mother thinks if white and green are my wedding colors, then my flowers need to be white and green as well. But I didn't think this had to be the case. I love the pinks and purples too.

I think as long as the flowers look good against the dresses, they will be fine, especially since the tops are white and the flower arrangements have that for a background. The bouquets will have greenery in them so it will all tie in fine. Look at your ticker, with the colors and a little bit of green...

If you didn't do pink and purple, what are your other choices?

Okay...I am going to meet with a couple of florists next weekend and want some input. I am getting married in June. I want the wedding feel to be light, clean, airy, and young. My bridesmaids are wearing these colors:

and the invitations are white and green, the table linens will be white with green linen napkins and the chair covers will be clean white with purple bows. I am thinking pinks and purples for the flowers...what do you think? Will that look nice? Any suggestions as far as floral arrangments? I'd love input with pictures!
