Both of our parents are deceased. I have 3 children and would like to do a dance with my son, while my fiance dances with our 2 daughters. Does this seem like a weird request? Also, is there any songs out there that would fit the 2 different dances? Any suggestions would be helpful. Thank you, SAra Jo

I am curious as to if dancing the father-daughter dance with my brother (who is giving me away) would be appropriate as my father is deceased?

WONDERFUL IDEA!!! Since my husband had two daughters from his previous marriage and I had one from my previous relationship, we did the traditional father/daughter (bride) dance, and a new, modern, father/daugther (three children) dance!!! It was great!! Not only did it make the children feel like a big part of the festivities, I got some really great photos for the family album!!!

Not only appropriate, but a wonderful idea.

My sister, who has a teenage son, when she got married, she did a special dance with him - LeeAnn Womack's I Hope You Dance.
Wonderful song :)
