I am planning my wedding and I was wondering when it comes to invites is it okay to limit the number of "and guest" invites? I have a few people I'd like to allow to bring a guest, but I have a limited number of people to invite and would like to keep the number attending down. There would be about 8-10 people I'd allow to bring a guest. Any suggestions?

Hey!
When addressing your invitations, write "and guest" behind those people's names whom which you want to bring a guest. For everyone else, only write the invitee's name excluding the phrase.
Good Luck!

I am in the same situation. We both have big families so what I am doing is inviting people with guests that have a boyfriend/girlfriend. Why should I invite people that I do not know?

You should only invite "guest" of people that have been going out for some time, are living together, engaged. Let your friends know that you are in a tight budget, they will understand.
