Hi there,

I was wondering if there was anyone out there who has been married (or is planning to be married!) in Thailand? My fiance and I are quite keen, but it's so nerve wracking to plan a wedding in a different country! Has anyone had any experiences with wedding in Thailand? We've found a fantastic place in Koh Samui, Sandalwood Villas, but it would be so great to talk to other people and find out what they did.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Here is good site to find destination wedding info.
www.tripadvisor.com (http://www.tripadvisor.com)

Even though it is more of a vacation webiste, you actually find tons of wedding related thread in their forum section.

Good luck!

Hi,

This posting may be a bit late, but just in case you're still considering marrying in Thailand, my advice is YES! Thailand is a fabulous country. We were married there recently and it was just magical. Mind you, we arranged it all through a fabulous wedding planning company called Creative Events Asia. www.creativeeventsasia.com They were just wonderful and organised everything from the legal registration of our marriage, the accommodation, the ceremony and reception at the hotel, they even helped us find a suitable hotel to have the wedding at. Honestly, if I had to arrange it all myself, I'd feel a bit overwhelmed too, but CEA were just great and so organised. You can email them at enquiries@creativeeventsasia.com

Good luck with the wedding.
