Question about dress alterations...

I was thinking I would probably try to sell my dress after my wedding. Well, it's the only way I can feel OK about spending $4-500 on the dress I really want! What I was wondering is, once the dress is altered to fit me, will it be possible for anyone who buys it to make it fit them? Can a dress that was taken in be let back out??

I think as long as you tell the person doing the altering that you would like to have the dress let back out, then they can probably save the fabric.

I needed to have some of my dress taken out. The alterations had no problems.. I didn't have any extra fabric but they found a match..
