I have a step father who raised me. My father was around but wasnt a huge part in my life....would it be ok to have one on each arm??

I have a friend who was in a similar situation. This is what she done and it was so wonderful. She had her Father walk her half way down the isle and then the step father ***e and took her other side and they both finished walking her down the isle. good luck

My cousin's wife did that. I thought it was just fine. If you love them both, have them both there.

i have a dad and a step father and i dont know what to do. my dad has always ben there for me and my step father has as long as i hvae known him. the problem is im not vey close with eather of them. i dont know what to do i wnat to include them however i dot know how to with it feeling awkard

Dear Erika,
I am in the same situation. My step father raised me since I was three. My biological father was around but was never big in my life either. To me my step dad is dad. He taught me how to ride a bike, was there when I lost teeth and all that stuff. It is his right to give me away and I would think it to be a slap in his face if I also had my biological father walk me down the aisle.

I have a similar problem... My stepdad has been in my life since I was five years old, but my real dad was always around. I saw my dad on a typical basis; however, when I got older my father and I had a falling out. We don't really even coversate so I am not inviting him to my wedding, but I still don't feel proper letting my step dad give me away. To solve my problem, I choose to have my little brother give me away. He is a awesome kid and he is one of the most important people in my life. My stepdad supports this also because he doesn't want to step on my real dad's toes either.
