I am still trying to decide. They are not outdated, though. I wore some fingerless gloves to my senior prom in high school, which was only a little over a year ago, and they looked great. The good thing about the fingerless gloves is that you can still be able to show off your ring and nails at the same time of having the look that gloves give you.

I am wearing gloves with my dress. The bridal shop said they will cut a slit in the ring finger and I can slide my finger out when it is time to exchange rings. :)

I wore gloves at my first wedding, and that's what I did. Before the wedding, I cut a small slit in the top of the left hand ring finger. Then, when I put them on, I never had that finger in the glove...it stuck out so that the ring would fit right on my finger. I just tucked the empty glove-finger into the palm of the glove so it wasn't hanging out. No one ever noticed because I was carrying my flowers. After the ceremony, I took the gloves off though, because it was too hot to wear them.

I'm still deciding whether or not to wear gloves. I think they look elegant but I'm afraid they may be too difficult to work with. I'm not sure as for the fingerless ones though. The only time I ever wore finderless gloves was with dance costumes. We wore them when dancing to a Bette Midler song so they kind of remnd me of that! LOL!

when i read the posts about fingerless gloves i had to laugh! the first thing that ***e to mind was big burley biker guys and hobos with leather gloves that have the fingertips cut off of them! lol...i'm sure the ones you are talking about are elegant and beautiful, but i've never seen anything like that so that's nowhere near what i'm picturing.
I'm not wearing gloves of anykind...i know how dirty my hands get during the normal course of a day and it would look 1000x worse if i was doing that to white gloves.

I wanted to wear the plain satin fingerless gloves with my dress so then I could show off my rings and my nails but when i tried them on at the bridal shop they did not look right with my dress, so instead i will just wear a bracelet. :)

I'm not wearing them, they seem like a pain to me. I was the moh in my sister's wedding and she let me wear them. I got tired of wearing them real quick so I took them off and they got swept away with all the napkins and linens and I never saw them again. They weren't expensive but waste of money.

I'm wearing gloves....I think they just make my dress a little more elegant. I bought elbow length, but am having my mom shorten them to right below my elbow b/c they are uncomfortable where they were. She is also cutting out a little hole for my ring finger to come out of when we exchange rings. I like the idea of gloves only with a few dresses tho, not all. It depends on the dress and the person. I love mine and can't wait to wear them.
