HELP

My fiance has a 3 yr old daughter that i would like to include in our wedding, but i don't want her mother to be there. how do i tell my fiance that i don't want her there without offending him and how do i go about inviting and including his daughter without having her mother there??

I think that is very loving of you to include your soon to be step-daughter in your wedding, what i suggest is that you tell your fiance about this, and the reasons why you feel that his ex not be present,i think if you address this before it's to late, everything will work out, there is no reason his ex needs to be at your big day

This is your big day and I think if you explain it to your fiance he will under stand... I have been told that it is actually bad luck to have an ex at the wedding..I though about inviting my ex that is now one of my best friends and decided not to just for that reason..there shouldn't be conflict...good luck

I would tell your fiance, and I'm sure he'll understand. Remember that he will be very busy himself and won't have time to get your step-daughter-to-be ready too. You may suggest asking your mother-in-law-to-be to be in charge of her or another close relative on his side that she is comfortable with. Best of luck!
